Project activities:
  • Comprehensive analysis of the European and Ukrainian Higher Education Quality Assurance System (at national and university levels)
  • Evaluate and enhance Ukrainian accreditation framework by conducting a comprehensive review of existing systems in partner and programme countries, engaging with EU universities and national accreditation agencies, gathering insights from the Ukrainian academic community, and proposing improvements addressing identified shortcomings in the current programme accreditation process
  • Development of institutional accreditation policies and procedures for universities, accreditation bodies and other stakeholders involved in the
    accreditation process
  • Strengthening the capacity of higher education institutions and national quality assurance bodies
  • Enhance the organizational and professional capabilities of Ukrainian HEIs and quality assurance agencies through a strategic initiative encompassing comprehensive internal
    staff training, implementation of innovative accreditation methodologies, systematic evaluation and refinement of the accreditation process
  • Enhance the skills and capacity of key stakeholders, including teachers, administrative staff, and accreditation experts, through targeted professional development programs
  • Piloting institutional accreditation policies and procedures
  • Enhance the organizational and professional capabilities of Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and quality assurance agencies through a strategic initiative
    encompassing comprehensive internal staff training, implementation of innovative accreditation methodologies, systematic evaluation and refinement of the accreditation
    process, and the formulation of Guidelines and Best Practices to elevate the standards of Institutional Accreditation in Ukrainian HEIs
  • Actively engage stakeholders, including government agencies, industry and civil society, to ensure a holistic and well-informed accreditation process for educational institutions that is aligned with the country’s post-war recovery and development goals
  • Highlight and communicate the benefits of institutional accreditation over individual programme accreditation, emphasising its ability to provide a more complete and holistic assessment, promote flexibility and cooperation between disciplines, and contribute to the strategic development of the country’s higher education system and its post-war emergence as a future EU member
